What Single-Needle Finishing Actually Changes

A slower seam, a flatter finish, and a shirt that holds its shape years longer.

Single-needle side seams take roughly twice as long to sew as a twin-needle equivalent. We keep them because the result is a flatter, narrower seam that does not twist after repeated washing. On a shirt worn weekly, the difference shows up in year two, not week one — which is exactly the horizon we build to.
